"Those attending enjoyed visits with old friends and met new ones. In 2009 many had breakfast at Friday's Restaurant on Saturday morning before the Festival Parade in Historic Downtown Stevenson! A well-attended "BINGO NIGHT" kicked off the celebration this year. Among the most popular events was the "Bug-Blast" in the beautiful Stevenson City Park. Pictures and more information about the "BUG-BLAST", Volkswagen Parade, and "BUG-CRUISE" for 2009 may be found at:

The traditional 'Pioneer Breakfast', a memorial to the late Philip Hall, serves as a yearly benefit for the 'North Jackson High School Band'. The Old Stevenson High School Band led the "Depot Days Festival Parade" until 1988, and the NJHS Band has graciously continued the tradition. The Armstrong Park, located near the Stevenson Post Office on land donated by the Kathryn Armstrong Estate, is a pleasant spot to relax, with its beautifully manicured lawn, sidewalks, park benches, and Gazebo with hanging blooming baskets. This newly designed downtown park area offers a welcome spot for gathering with friends and enjoying memories of "Historic Old Stevenson", or making new ones."
